The worlds first consumer high definition camera. The Sony HDR-FX1 is a revoloution in form and function as it allows you record and play interlaced high definitions for a professional quality video with vivid colours and striking details.
It features -

  • Switchable HDR/DV recording - Capable of recording and playing back in high definition and at standard definition.
  • Manual Zoom - Provides detailed and precise detail on the amount of zoom and overall focus of your image.
  • Picture Profile - Allows the user to manually adjust for a scene, such as colour, sharpness and white balance within a pre set so they can be called upon with a touch of a button. Also provides settings for various shooting conditions are offered as defaults.
  • Assignable buttons - Three buttons on the exterior are user assignable so they can be set to the options most used for ease of recording.
  • Shot Transition - Allows for smooth automatic scene transition. Settings for focus, zoom, iris, gain, shutter and white balance can attached to the A/B button and a smooth transition will take place. this function will take place at a set time. This function will enable focus to gradually shift from foreground to background or vice versa, allowing a smooth change in depth of field.
